The SIMPCO Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) is amending and revising portions of the 2030 Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP) with approval scheduled for January 8, 2009. The LRTP is a tool for developing safe and efficient transportation improvements of the SIMPCO MPO region through the year 2030. These improvements encompass all modes of transportation including public transit, and bicycle and pedestrian travel in addition to street and highways. Proposed amendments and revisions to Chapters 6, 7, 8 are now available for public comment (see links below) There will be Public Open House to review the document on December 18, 2008 from 4-6pm at SIMPCO.
